Living Honesty by Sharon Renae

Living a completely joy-filled life requires honesty.

We must be honest within ourselves. We must be willing to listen and follow our divine truth. Most likely we know it we but we are too afraid to follow it, some of the reasons being fear, guilt, responsibility, duty and obligation or our own stubbornness of not wanting to change.

We give reasons, excuses and lies to try and convince ourselves that this really doesn’t matter. We find reasons why we don’t need or require the feelings of peace and joy. Every time we choose to do an act that causes us unhappiness, stress or anxiety we are not being honest with ourselves. We are not listening to our Soul, our God source divine energy!

Each moment that we embrace and live with the resistance of what we don’t we are losing precious energy. We focus on the lie that we tell ourselves is true, instead of listening to the heart and the desire that is within us. We have convinced ourselves the rules of society, and the beliefs that these miseries are a necessary part of life are falsehoods, untruths. And yet we are closed to reason that we have the power within us to change that that brings us discord.

We accept the lies so easily that our bodies end up with disease and/or our lives in poverty because we were not aware that the Divine within us was giving us clear direction. The unease that is within us is not path of the heart, it is the peace of where the unease is not that is the direction. Until we listen, acknowledge and follow the path to peace we are not living honestly, we are living a lie. And we have convinced ourselves that we have no choice and must bear the burden of the life we have been given.

The quote, “Honesty is the best policy,” is true. Honesty can set you free!
